The GIANTS have set a new membership record with the club passing the 13,500 members mark for the first time.
The club currently sits at 13,522 members, passing the 13,480 who signed up in 2015. The GIANTS are 15 per cent ahead of this time last year, when it took until July 22 to pass the 2014 total.
GIANTS CEO David Matthews said it was another exciting milestone for the club.
“In just a short period of time we have developed a loyal and committed supporter base as this record membership figure proves,” Matthews said.

Carlton, under new coach Brendan Bolton, will return to Spotless Stadium for the third year in a row when the face the GIANTS this Saturday, June 25.
The round 16 match against Collingwood will be the first time the Magpies have played at Spotless Stadium since 2014, with the match coinciding with Multicultural Round on July 9. A multicultural festival will be taking place as part of this event at nearby Cathy Freeman Park.
The GIANTS will then aim to maintain their perfect record in Canberra this season when Richmond visit the ACT for the first time in Round 19.
The West Australian clubs, West Coast and Fremantle, round out the Spotless Stadium fixture in August.
