GIANTS players have  hit the schools of Greater Western Sydney as part of their regular community visits in the region.

Several players met with school children to share the fun and enjoyment of the game of AFL..

Setanta O'hAilpin, who was born in Bankstown before moving to Ireland as a young child, relished the chance to talk to kids at the Macquarie Fields Public School.

"Its a chance to talk to the kids about AFL football and maybe give them another avenue into professional sport if they would like to choose to go down that path." OhAilpin said.

Many of the children in the region come from different cultural backgrounds like Setanta himself and he is excited at the prospect of one day seeing more kids from Western Sydney playing AFL.
